If you don't want to appear in search results or "who's online", you can temporarily disable your advert by going to your 'Edit Profile' page.

At the top of the Edit Profile page is a box with details on how to submit your profile for approval, or to place your advert on hold

After creating your ad you simply click on the button near the top of the page marked 'Fully enable my ad' and then the button marked 'Submit your profile for approval'.

Approval can take a few working days.

Alternatively you can provide a valid non freely available .NZ email address or upgrade to a gold account to have your profile status updated.
